When Lucifer gives Morpheus the keys to Hell it begins the best story arc of the series thus far. Gaiman flaunts his knowledge of supernatural lore as a wide variety of some of earths greatest deities and demons gather to decide who will take Hell. Gaiman does a magnificent job of humanizing these beings of lore as he has done with the Endless and this creates some of the most humorous interactions as gods from different realms and cultures meet in the Dreamworld. He also continues to humanize Morpheus the Lord of Dreams as this whole thing started because of someone Dream wronged long ago. This breaks Morpheus' stoic never changing mentality if just for the briefest of moments and we see a softer side of the Dream Lord.
