The movies have been good, but there’s only so much of a 700 page book you can fit into a 3 hour movie. If you liked the movie, you will absolutely love the book. One thing in particular I will say is that you grow to like the characters a lot more in the book. It’s not necessarily that they are less likable in the movie, but you spend more time with them and get to hear their inner monologues. This is especially noticeable for Jessica and Dr Yue.
