Dying to Meet You by Sarina Bowen

3.5

Mini Audiobook Review: Thank you Harper Preninal for the copy of this book!

Last year Sarina Bowen debuted her first domestic thriller book and I loved it! So I was really excited when I learned she was releasing another. But it just didn't grab me like the other grab me. I had almost DNF but I felt like I needed to see it out to find out who the killer was. But by the end I was confused on who was who and fully the reason for why X did what they did and the connection to the decease. I also didn't understand the reason why the FMC Rowan her ex came back into the picture? I didn't think it added to the story or was necessary? Unless that was the way for the book to include a romance subplot which I wouldn't even call it a subplot because of how little it is in the book. If you enjoy Sarina's writing you may want to check it out. This has not deterred me away from reading her books and I'm hoping she continues to write in this space because even though I didn't enjoy this one, I still enjoy her writing overall.
