Atalanta by Jennifer Saint

Beautifully written from the perspective of Atalanta. As someone who has read both the Illiad and the Oddessey before this it was a such a relief to finally read greek mythology through the perspective of a woman, especially one who had to overcome the hardship of men and the gods as well as the lack of support from her fellow heros (although I wouldn't consider all of them heros.) I loved that the author was able to give the reader so much action and chaos while also keeping the underlying message behind the story of Atalanta. I'm definitely planning on continuing to read greek mythology from the perspective of women.
