Yellow Bird: Oil, Murder, and a Woman's Search for Justice in Indian Country by Sierra Crane Murdoch

challenging dark informative mysterious sad slow-paced

3.5

this was a really interesting book. i loved the content and learning so much more about reservations and some of the oil companies. However, I really struggled with the writing and formatting. it felt like towards the middle and end, it really dragged. The pacing was super uneven and i found myself struggling to make it through. i lost the curiosity i had and wanted to just finish it. despite that, i did find it very interesting and educational.
