5th book in the series and my least favorite.  It almost borders on a stand alone book.  You need some of the background from the earlier books but I don't feel like you would be completely lost if you read this one out of order.  Just felt like this story dragged a bit.  There is also some jumping around from character to character and from place to place that just disrupts the whole flow for me.  I plan on reading the last book but I didn't like this one.
