Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte

5.0

I had my doubts. I haven’t read a stand alone book in a long time. But I made an exception. Once in the middle of the book I thought I knew what the ending was going to be like not once but three times. But then the author surprised me and basically said “oh you thought it was gonna be like that, hold my wine”. Three times I was like oh my gosh. The book I found was easy to follow with all the different perspectives. The characters were compelling and amazing. The storyline was solid. I recommend this to all people looking for a fantastical world mixed with Clue.
