This book was highly recommended by many people. I finished the book only because the tension in the book gave me so much anxiety that I had to finish it. However, the almost constant threat of sexual violence towards the main character turned me off completely. It made me incredibly uncomfortable.
I thought that it was completely unrealistic for the 4 male characters to threaten to gang rape the MC and then once the realize that she send them to prison they we just like oh haha sorry and she got over it quickly. I would never want to see any of them again.
I found the MC and the love interest to be immature and unlikeable I found it hard to find any redeeming characters for the love interest. The MC I found to be painfully naive and way to trusting of people who had repeatedly shown her not to trust them. Overall I thought the premise was interesting but I could barely stomach the execution. I will not be reading the rest of the series and will not read this book again.
