2 hours 27 minutes - This was one of the most emotional books I've ever read, I think in part to just how relatable the subjects discussed are. Academic pressure, fear of failure, the idea that you must be the best at everything and that you have this pre-determined path you cannot waver from, are all ideas presented and challenged in this book. The characters experiencing these problems are all loveable and the reader cannot help but sympathise and feel for them. I didn't like the inclusion of the transcripts. I found them boring and hard to follow - it was a good concept but the execution didn't match the idea. However, all in all, this was a wonderfully written book.
Graphic: Child abuse, Emotional abuse, and Mental illness
Moderate: Animal cruelty, Animal death, and Suicidal thoughts
