Overall, I liked this book and will continue with this series (actually, I'm rather excited about it). The first half of this book was quite boring, but after that it really picked up for me. The characters and lands didn't seem well developed - many times I forgot what the characters were supposed to look like. Rhodes was ruthless in killing off characters though, which I really liked. I have a feeling this series will only get better from here!
