Yearbook by Seth Rogen
1.0

I did not laugh once over the course of this memoir. In my own opinion, Seth Rogan's comedic style does not translate well on paper and instead needs a visual/auditory outlet to really make it shine. That's why he's such a great script writer and actor. If I had instead listened to the audiobook version, I believe I would have enjoyed it more.

To be honest, and maybe this is a bit harsh, but I don't think this memoir needed to have been written. There was no underlying message or central theme, no life-changing realizations or events. It felt like when celebrities release skincare lines just because. He wrote it just because.

The only part I found remotely interesting was the section that went behind-the-scenes of the post-production process of the ‘Interview.’ If he had focused more on his work rather than his weed-highs, it would have maybe warranted the 'memoir' status.
