Reaper Man ~ Terry Pratchett 4.5/5

Characters - amazing as always. Death is one of my favourites and the || Fresh Start Club || warmed my heart and made me laugh. I loved || Modo and his compost || 5/5

Plot - Loved the death plot (LOVED IT) but the || mall || was definitely a point in time satire that doesn’t quite land today || although I might have felt differently when I was working at a toy store in a mall about a decade ago ||. I understood it but I didn’t quite get the point. 3.5/5

Setting - It’s Discworld. It doesn’t get better. 5/5

Impact - Hit me right in the feels and gave me cosy vibes through out. Thought provoking at times too (The Josh Kirby art for this one is imho his best and adds to this. I’m considering getting a print) 4/5

Prose - classic Pratchett which I usually rate around 4-4.5/5. I enjoy it enough to plan to read the entire Discworld (this was #11) but it is dense and slows me down (because every world is so carefully crafted), sometimes I just want a page that I don’t have to concentrate on.

Looking forward to starting Witches Abroad in the near future!
