We met Tristan in the first book in the series. He was seen as the protective big brother, the one who would put everyone first but had some struggles of his own. This book really highlighted those qualities and then some.

Kurt is down on his luck after his divorce. He finds himself vying for the same position as Tristan. As the two work together, things begin to shift between them.

Watching both of these men work on themselves and heal was absolutely beautiful. They were both there for each other in moments of weaknesses and never gave up on each other.
