The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang

This book… I honestly don’t know what to expect further on. It’s some of the darkest shit I ever read. It’s all new to me. What’s scary is that a lot of stuff is relatable. The hatred and pain is relatable. It would’ve been such a different experience if my country wasn’t invaded by the bloodthirsty enemy that wants to erase my country, my nation, and history at this very moment. It would’ve been such a different experience if I didn’t hear of how may people were bombed, killed, tortured, and left without homes every single day.
