Age of Death by Michael J. Sullivan

5.0

The first half of this series was pretty good, but I have been seriously loving and losing sleep staying up reading the second half. The build up for the conclusion of the series had been truly wonderful, and I'm just really, really crossing my fingers that it delivers. In my experience, epic fantasy has a habit of really building up the "final battle", and it often ends up falling short (Brandon Sanderson and Robert Jordan being notable exceptions in my opinion), but this is the first Michael Sullivan series I've read, so we'll see how it goes!
