Better character growth in this book that the previous in this series, I.e. the FMC wasn’t too stubborn to change. The plot was more realistic in pace and leaned into the reality of the trauma both main characters experienced. Couldn’t put it down towards the end! Author did a good job tying in the other characters in the world.
