I read this because it was one of Reese Witherspoon's books of the month. I found it to be a pretty slow read. I finished the book because I thought there would be some epic conclusion, but I was really disappointed. I should have called it quits halfway through when it didn't hold my interest. I have enjoyed all of Reese's book recommendations up until this point, so maybe it just wasn't my cup of tea.
