Arsène Lupin, Gentleman-Thief by Maurice Leblanc

mysterious fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Diverse cast of characters? No
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? No
I enjoyed these stories. It was fun to be from the thief's perspective. Also, I felt like there were more clues as to how the crime was achieved than there are in a Sherlock Holmes or Nero Wolfe book, so I felt smart when I worked out some aspects before the mystery was revealed.

I borrowed this from the library, but should have splashed out on the illustrated edition, it looks beautiful!
