First read this when I was definitely too young to be checking out a Paula Hawkins thriller from the library - revisiting it was such a joy. The short chapters help with keeping the tension and pace up, and the characters are thoroughly entertaining and complex in the most macabre way. I'm interested in Hawkins' latest novel, and feel properly excited for that one now!
