I accidentally picked up Trees 2 without having read Trees 1. Not a huge problem, you can figure most of it out. Cool story about seemingly passive alien invasion of gigantic telephone pole-like trees but then after a while bad things happen. Bad-ass scientist heroine. I'm sad that there is no Trees 3 yet but I'm going back to read Trees 1.
