One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez
5.0
This is one of those delicious books that paints vivid pictures in your mind as you follow along the trials and triumphs with the Buendia family in the city of Macondo. You can feel the dust and the rain, and the torment of the men and women. I admit, I had to reference the family tree at the front of the book often to help keep all the similarly named characters straight. But definitely a book I won't forget anytime soon.
