I decided to write a short review on this book for the simple reason that I did not think I would like it. I am not a huge Sci-Fi fan (especially when it comes to the ones set in space). I picked up this book after seeing it in an Owlcrate unboxing, and I investigated it further. Discovering it based on Anastasia is what hooked me into giving it a try. I am not sorry.
This was a really wonderful character driven epic that I eagerly await the sequel(s) to! It is an excellent example of a story re-imagined done well. The characters were likable and well developed and the story was still highly original with great call backs to one of my favorite movies of all time! Now that I have read one of Ashley Poston's books, it is my plan to read them all! I am in love with this story and I eagerly await the next installment! If you are thinking about giving this book a try: DO IT! =D
