Really, I don't think there are words proper to describe ANY of the books in this series. But, I'll give it a shot.
This book was absolutely incredible. The characters were phenomenal. So believable, engrossing, and heart-breakingly realistic. Gerald N. Lund weaves history and fiction into a seamless masterpiece that truly brings to light the horrific events surrounding the Mormon (LDS) extermination from Missouri.
