I really wanted to love this, because the story and the idea are great, but execution fell a little flat.

As a romantasy, the relationships were well thought out and easy to care about, but the fantasy element of plot was shallow and underdeveloped.
Raina can suddenly do things nobody thought her capable of and instead of testing out her abilities she’s taking massively risky (not actually necessary in the plot) chances?

Additionally, we were increasingly introduced to more of the gods and older characters in this book - Fia Drumera and Fleurie especially. Why then, do these multi-hundred year old characters speak like teenagers?

A great premise but needed work.
