It’s a slow read until about 60% where all hell breaks loose.
I’m not that knowledgeable about slashers so the “Slasher 101” chapters were necessary for me to understand the full story. Those chapters could easily be tedious for people who already are familiar with the genre though.
I’m not very squeamish but there were a few descriptions of teeth and jaws that had me wincing. Gore should be a given but I did see some negative reviews only because the descriptions were gross 😂
Pretty disappointed in the ending where it is revealedthat this is a supernatural slasher. Don’t really care about those personally.
