Dante Russo, the man that you are. 🙂↕️
I absolutely loved how he was literally begging on his knees for Vivian after she decided to leave. He didn’t stalk her or do anything rash, except win her back.
I screamed when Vivian finally told her dad off. 😭
Ana Huang has become my favorite author so far. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series. The references to other characters in her other series?! I think it’s one of my favorite parts of reading her books.
My top quotes from this book:
“A sky without stars, a home without heart.” - Dante Russo, when describing how he felt without Vivian. (p. 333)
“You and me, sweetheart. That’s the destination. And I’m willing to take as many steps as I need to get there.” -Dante Russo (p.341)
“Love wasn’t about the big moments. More often, it was tucked in the small moments connecting the major ones.” - Vivian Lau (p.344)
