What a fun read! Often when authors have such an interesting premise, the execution falls flat. This was not the case with Erebos. I enjoyed the story right up until the end. I think there may have been some literary skill lost in translation when Erebos was translated from German to English. It made the story awkward to read on a few occasions. However, it did not take away from the plot in which the mystery and suspense were beautifully crafted with an adequate payoff in the end.
I probably won't reread this as not knowing the end was what kept me reading, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys this genre.
