Overall a great audiobook that I enjoyed listening to on my commute.
One thing I should have expected and prepared for was the "clean" presentation and America-centric perspective. With the high-profile and easy-going branding of the Obama administration, don't expect any major grittiness and real discussions on the challenges of American politics and leadership. The book focuses only on the good and the wins - and I understand why it was published as such, but it definitely made me feel a certain level of skepticism towards the content overall.
However, I thoroughly enjoyed the chapters covering Michelle Obama's earlier life. As a BIPOC woman in North America, I found so many parallels in my own life with hers. These were the passages that were most inspiring. I also enjoyed the overall messaging of driving change and growth in our society through focusing our resources on youth.
