Hm... how should I put this? It is a good sequel, action packed just like the first book. But maybe because I read this book very slowly (8 days!) I didn't feel the urgency and the panic that I felt when reading Illuminae (finished it in 2 days!). It doesn't mean that the plot is boring, no, far from that. I actually feel the main plot about

alternate universe

very interesting.

Since what happened with Ezra, I didn't believe it a bit when Nik also died lol. I even had a theory about alternate Heimdall before the book touched the topic. I actually felt quite smug when my theory was proven true lmao. But anyway, how this books describe the alternate universe and how it connected was really easy to grasp. Probably because this book has the freedom to include diagram and graphic unlike other book
