Feminist Fight Club: An Office Survival Manual for a Sexist Workplace by Jessica Bennett

4.0

Jessica Bennett is a little too white and s little too cis and a little too wealthy in her writing. The very ‘rah rah vaginas’ gender essentialism and some other harmful stereotypes like “working with women is so great because we smell so much nicer”, made me crinkle my nose at several points throughout. But if you can look beyond her white feminist streak, there’s a lot of fun, funny, insightful and useful information to be found. It echoed a lot of the strategies I’d found most useful in my sexist workplace, and gave me some new ideas to try.
