I'm not a huge fan of memoirs and this book is no exception. The author spends the first 30 pages analyzing her childhood diaries and crushes. I'm all for hearing cute stories about your childhood crushes and how you switched those crushes more often than you changed your underwater, but I really don't care about the hidden messages in a seven year olds diary that was solely for who was your current boyfriend. I'm abandoning this memoir and sticking it right of my "to sell" pile of books that were a huge disappointment.
