I absolutely LOVED this Vol. The continuation of Maxim’s story was even better than the beginning. The art again was stunning and told the story beautiful!
I devoured this in 20 mins and was upset to see this end! I can’t wait for Vol. 3!
The Night of Knives follows Maxim on his journey to gain his soldiers respect. None of them want to listen or follow him. Until Maxim learns of the Night of Knives. Four doors, and the farthest anyone has gone and come out is 3 doors. Spelled with Antari magic, each door takes you to your breaking point. Once in the only way out is through or death.
Isra tells Maxim before entering that it’s not about winning, it’s about knowing when enough is enough. He vows not to go through the 4th door, and he would have kept that promise too...but someone else has other plans for a prince...
I absolutely recommend this graphic novel series! It’s absolutely brilliant and so much fun to follow!
