Torment by Lauren Kate

5.0

With Luce, Daniel, Cam, Gabbe, Arriane and Roland comes back in Torment for all of us to enjoy, YOU also get to meet several other great additions to Luce's list of friends and enemies. Luce is really mixed up at first about life, love and her pursuit of happiness. In this book Luce really seeks out the truth. The truth about Daniel, her past lives and what she is really all about. Luce has help discovering who she is with some help of her new friends along the way. But wait! There's A lot more...

Daniel is still trying to keep Luce safe. He is so concerned for her safety it's half romantic and half heartbreaking. Let me just say Luce does not make it easy on the poor guy. She does not stay put, like Daniel instructed. She really does give Daniel a run-for-his-money in this book. She really gets into trouble and makes it easy for the bad guys to get to her. Silly woman, sometimes it pays to listen to your man. Luce has to learn the hard way. That's the greatest parts about this book, is watching Luce make mistakes and learn from them. Watching her fall and get back up again for another try. She really wants to find out the truth about the past. While searching for the truth she is allowed an occanssional randomen glimpse of her mysterious past lives. I was waiting for Daniel to strangle her himself, but NO... he has to love her more than life itself.

I really enjoyed reading Fallen. (If you read my review, you would see what I'm talking about) However, I enjoyed Torment so much more. Lauren Kate really did a great job with this second book in the Fallen series. Let me just say there better be a third. I'M hooked. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I'm not sure if youv'e ever waited for a book for a while, anxious to read it, then you get to read the so called book and when it's over; You just feel empty inside, because it's Done. Read. Over. Finished. That's how I felt after reading this book. What in the heck do I read now? Whatever it is, has to be as good as Torment or I'm gonna be bored quick! Thanks Lauren this is all your fault, you and you great writing has spoiled me.

Lauren Kate will keep you wanting more. With this book comes action packed - romance driven - life learning lessons - more love triangles. What would you want more in life? Seriously.
