Monster, She Wrote: The Women Who Pioneered Horror and Speculative Fiction by Lisa Kröger, Melanie R. Anderson

adventurous dark informative inspiring lighthearted slow-paced

5.0

This was a well-written and informative book. I liked how it was divided into sections, depending on the subgenre of fiction. That made it a lot easier to look through it if I needed to. I really appreciated how after the information about each writer, there were reading recommendations from their work and similar authors. There was also some humour that alleviated the dark topics. And last but not least, this is a beautifully illustrated book. Reading it was a very pleasant experience.
