A book that I found to be a particular coming-of-age story.
Whereas many coming of age stories have a, more or less happy ending, this story, aside from being sad and quick, was also fulfilling. Though seemingly abrupt at first, the ending seemed right for the story.
The book provides an interesting perspective on the lives of First Nations tribe members growing up.
