Damn, Adriana Herrera! 🥵
This one was a fated mates situation, which I’m usually not that into, but it worked fairly well in this story.
As with the first in this series, I really appreciate how Herrera writes consent. Like, it’s done in a subtle, yet sexy way. Even when the characters flat out ask for consent, it’s done in a way that increases the heat of the scene and I think that takes some skill, to write consent that way.
I am very pleasantly surprised by this little series and am looking forward to the third book!
