A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

5.0

If you happen to have a soft spot in your heart for cantankerous old men then this is the perfect book for you. Ove is as grumpy as you get but as the author digs into his past you find the reasons behind some of his quarrelsome (and downright rude) ways. By the end of the book, I was in tears, both happy and sad.

I listened to the Audibles version of this book and can add that the quality was superb. The narrator was excellent and the pacing was perfect. No extra la-de-da sound effects or music to take away from the story. I'd give it an A+.
