Miss Dior: A Story of Courage and Couture
by Justine Picardie
adventurous
challenging
dark
emotional
informative
reflective
sad
tense
medium-paced
Informative and emotional, with a descriptive account of before/during/Post ww2 times. Ravensbruck concentration camp is not to be forgotten, but a chapter in history to be forever retold.
Having said that, there's a lack of focus taking into account the book's name. Little is said about Catherine's life. There's a mix between Christian, Catherine, Dior and War in this book, but in a way that you get lost, not being sure about what the author's focus is. Moreover, she keeps adding more elements, such as her personal life and experiences.
