This book was heartbreaking from start to finish. I’m so happy that Auren and Slade didn’t reunite in this book, as much as I wanted them too I feel like that would have been far too easy.
The side story’s for other characters help with the development within the kingdoms and it’s nice to see and hear their perspectives and their development *cough* Queen Malina *cough*.
This book has set up the final book in this series perfectly and it kills me to have to wait until August to find out how this beautiful, heart wrenching story ends
