This one is so different from any other that I have read and it is amazing! You will not be able to predict how it ends at all. I was hooked from the start in the ballroom when it was clear to everyone what they thought of each other. I somewhat felt bad for her husband especially after the duels, but the twist in the end killed that feeling and he got what he deserved. There were sparks from the start between them and I wanted them together so much. The ending was perfect and I loved how everyone ended up.

Cecily was not going to become one of the ladies that turned a blind eye to her husband’s doings. I loved her right away because she did not hide her feelings from anyone and was set on finding a way to have her freedom again. I cheered her on every time she stood up to someone.

Stephen was such an honorable man that would help both of them in any way he could. I loved him because he realized he couldn’t always fix something and when he let her loose with the pool cue. He blamed himself for things that weren’t his fault and needed to let go of that feeling.

I loved her friends because they were helping to plot and I loved her father because he made sure the contracts were in her favor. I would also fear him too because he would protect her.
