This book completely blew my mind. Non-stop action. Insurmountable and impossible battles. Enemies, secrets and shadows everywhere. And Jack and Ethan at the centre of it all, enduring, fighting and remaining devoted, protecting each other above all else. They're so beautiful together, and I was so happy we still get those tender and sweet moments. I was also glad that other couples also get their own time. The camaderie and the romances provide reprieves from the intensity of action, angst and betrayal.

I have a lot of feels for Sergey/Sasha and Adam/Faisal - but Jack and Ethan remain my brightest stars. Their love melts my heart and it's *everything*. 🥹 I fucking love them to bits. And the side cast is *so* awesome, especially Scott Collard, the MVP. Gripping, exhilarating read but at the core, it's also about strength, courage, friendship, acceptance, and love. It was a roller coaster and I loved every minute of it, stress and all.

Also, number of times I thought 'wtf Tal?' = about two million
