Monstrilio
by Gerardo Sámano Córdova
definitely started off stronger than it finished. i enjoyed the premise & the different points of view. it extended the narrative & was one of the main reasons i was still interested.
that being said— i didn’t think m’s point of view was convincing at allllll. why not tie m’s motivations, thoughts, feelings, etc. to santiago’s memories? that felt like an entire miss on the narrative’s part.
a good read. was waiting for it to be great.
