The Boardwalk Bookshop

3.5, rounding up to 4.
Overall, I enjoyed it. I liked the concept of three friends being the focus and then following their multiple storylines. I liked how the women’s ages were spread out and that some of them were getting a second chance at love later in life.
I did get a bit frustrated with the characters because I didn’t love how they spoke to one another sometimes, but I suppose that’s realistic because real people are flawed. Also, some of the plot lines were overdone and the book probably could have been 80-100 pages shorter and still been as effective.
