I had started this a while back and didn't get into it, but I'm so glad I revisited it! The beginning was lovely (the writing and use of language in this book is definitely one of its strengths) but it wasn't until maybe a 1/4 or so of the way through that I really started to feel connected to the story and the characters. Plus, I'm always a sucker for in-world appreciation of words and stories.
