Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice

"You're much changed. But in a way, you are much the same." I fell in love with life and it's beauty while reading this book. I have finally found someone who sees the world the way I see it. Who appreciates the little things. Who overthinks about the simplest of things. Someone who at the same time fell in love with being eternal. With being dead while breathing. Someone who felt grieve to such an extent that everything within him perished. Until nothing was left. Until he was empty. I find Louis so fascinating. I find Lestat so interesting, for there must be a back story to how he is now. I find Armand so free, so happy to be alive immortally. I find Claudia so naive and clever at the same time. They took away her childhood. They took away her innocence. I find Madeleine so irrelevant (I'm sorry), but so interesting at the same time. I love the way the book is written. I simply love it. I truly adore this book.
