there were many things i liked about this book. there are a lot of good quotes/lines in this book and i highlighted a lot.
this story is about a chinese trans woman living in england who dates, goes through health challenges, and personal journeys with family and friends. it's a really good glimpse into all of these issues and how they are often messy, deep, and showcase the human experience. and what forgiveness and acceptance can be.
i feel like the ending was very abrupt considering all of the character building and interpersonal problems happening, but i get where the author headed in the epilogue and it says something without saying something.
some characters were better than others. the parallels between vincent's past story and the present really builds the anticipation of the story quite well.
overall, i enjoyed this.
