I've never felt as close to characters as this while reading about them. It might be an upbringing in a similar community(ies), but I think it's more about Damhnait's unbelievable ability to create empathetic characters with great depth. It's a rollercoaster of love, hope, truth, disappointment and so much more. You absolutely need to read this.
