The Boatman's Daughter by Andy Davidson

3.0

Nothing inherently wrong with it, just not my thing, I guess. You will love this book if you like casual magical realism, post-apocalyptic stories taking place in The Deep South, and very intimate, potentially gruesome (not too much, though) violence. You will not like this book if you enjoy well-developed plot lines and further insight into world-building/character development. I felt like this story was just me watching a few characters complete some tasks and wrestle with some bad guys until the end, no real story or insight other than some things that happen to some people.
