So yeah, this is a pretty heavy book but oh my gosh what an incredible book it was. And honestly it is a 5 star book with the exception of a few pacing issues that irked me.

I loved the take that this book did, I loved Ana, I found her to be a compelling main character and I loved seeing the world through her eyes. It was just so amazing to see a woman that was strong and actually seeing how she was strong instead of having it told to me.

This book is definitely not for everyone as there are heavy religious themes in it, but it is most certainly a new favourite for me. How I wished I could give it five stars because I really do love it a lot, but the pacing issues really did bring it down a little.
