The characters are all so well written with their own quirks and personalities that it's easy to forget the book is fiction. I listened to the audio book version, which makes it 5x funnier! There are so many hilarious side bits to this book while still being able to talk about serious topics like abuse, depression and personal growth. I actually cried a couple of times listening to this one because the emotions of the characters are so realistic and well-written that it really resonated with me. Love this book!
